Welcome to Orion Ranch Spa Essentials! Our soaps, lotions, lip balms and body butters are carefully crafted in small batches. The majority of our recipes are unique to Orion Ranch Spa Essentials, found nowhere else.
INGREDIENTS: We source products from various manufacturers and sellers who have proven track records as suppliers. We use organic oils and butters whenever possible. While we can’t label our products as organic, we can identify which individual ingredients are organic based on our suppliers’ records. Organic ingredients will be identified on the Additional Information tab for each product as well as on the packaging ingredient label.
ALLERGIES: Many of our products contain nut oils. We also use fragrance oils and flavor oils that have been tested as skin- or lip-safe by our suppliers. Please read the descriptions and ingredient lists of each item carefully before purchasing and using any of our products.
PRESERVATIVES: Preservatives that we typically may use are Optiphen, Optiphen Plus, Optiphen ND, Germaben II/iiE, Phenonip and Germall Plus. Because lotions are made primarily with water, they will (as a standard) always have some kind of preservative to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and mildew, etc. We may also use preservatives in other products like salt or sugar scrubs. Preservatives will be included in the ingredient list if used in the product’s recipe. If you would like to request products made without them, please email us ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please keep in mind that products normally including a preservative in the recipe may need to be refrigerated to slow the growth of mold, bacteria, and mildew, and/or used within a much shorter time frame. We cannot guarantee the shelf life of products made without a preservative if our standard is to include it.
STOCK AND ORDERS: Most of our products are ready to ship but sometimes we will sell out. All products are available for back-ordered, but please be aware of the following:
• Soaps: If back-ordered, the lead time will usually be four (4) weeks but could be up to five (5) weeks. This will allow the soap to be hand-crafted and cured in the appropriate amount of time. We will not sell soap that has not cured at least four (4) weeks.
• All other products (e.g., lotion bars, lip balms, whipped body butters, etc.): These can also be back-ordered, and the lead time for crafting additional stock will generally be about three (3) business days. These items don’t need to cure like soap so if we are sold out of an item, you should still receive a back-ordered item within about seven (7) to ten (10) business days.
• If a greater lead time is needed on any product, we will notify you by email of the updated time frame. If you wish to cancel an order at this point, you can certainly do so before your item ships.
• If we receive a request for a sold-out item and we are unable to obtain the necessary ingredients for a new batch, we will cancel your order and notify you via email. We don’t anticipate this happening very often but unfortunately we can’t control whether or not our suppliers will always have the necessary components in stock.
RUSH ORDERS: We will do everything we can to accommodate a rush/expedite request. Soaps cannot be rushed/expedited but all other products may be eligible for rush/expedite requests.
